Admission Policies and Procedure
Prior
to Enrollment
We invite visitors to drop in for tours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to
3:30 PM with an appointment. However, we encourage visits between 9::30 and 10:30
AM so the school and children could be observed while being engaged in a wide
variety of activities. During this time the School Director is accessible and
easily available to any visitor. We also encourage children to join their parents
during such initial visits. This gives the child an opportunity to play in our
large playground with other students while the parent is close-by so the child
may feel secure and helps the child adjust to the school environment (this applies
especially to 2-3 year olds).
Enrollment
Enrollment is accepted throughout the year, depending upon existing openings
at the time. Parents wishing to enroll their should complete the enclosed preregistration
application and return it to the Director, along with an $250.00 registration
fee. Before admitting a child to the school, an enrollment packet of required
State and Federal forms, and tuition contract along with the school policies,
need to be read and signed by the parents. The Enrollment Packet may be obtained
from the Director during the initial visit.
Tuition Deposit
Also payable at the time of registration is one half-month's tuition. This tuition
deposit will be applied to your child's last month at NewPath
Montessori School once a two-week
written notice is given informing the Director of the withdrawal date of the
child from our school.
